Everyone’s face has a distinct shape. The best way to figure out your own face shape is to simply take a headband and pull all your hair away from your face, then look closely into a mirror.  Is your face oval? Is it round? You should easily be able to tell.

Now, if you’re looking at a specific type of style that is “hot," notice the face shape of the person wearing the style. Is it the same as yours?  If it isn’t, it may not look as good on you as you might have originally thought. But the good news is there are plenty of hairstyles that are “hot” that can work with your face shape.
